Walkers’ Britometer
In summer 2012 the UK was bursting with patriotic pride as we celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the London Olympics, Wimbledon and a great run in the Euros. Walkers, a quintessentially British brand, was keen to join the garden party, so ‘The Britometer’ was contrived - a digital steampunk contraption powered by positivity, patriotism…and prizes!

Responding to the mood of the nation (gauged via patriotic social data) daily prizes ranged from money-off tokens to major sporting event tickets. The Britometer proved an enormous hit, with tens of thousands of players signing up for a spin.
